The future of skin: Lancôme gets ridiculously hi-tech at Heathrow T5
Listen up, holiday goers. Or Heathrow Terminal 5 goers, to be precise. The cutting edge boffins at skincare brand Lancôme have come up with an unbelievably modern and innovative platform, which passers-by will see in the Duty Free section of the airport. Just like Juicy Tubes and Hydra-Zen and all the other delectable launches that have come before this, it’s something of a game-changer on the skincare front.
WWD reported that the brand, along with technology company Kinect, have created a state-of-the-art 3D experience at the terminal which allows travellers to get to grips with a number of aspects of the brand, from walking through a ‘reinvented’ Paris to short films about ingredients within the skincare (yes, like the sacred rose molecules they use within their anti-ageing ranges). And you thought your holiday didn’t start until you were on the beach.
Lancôme chose Heathrow because it rather awesomely boasts the largest international traffic of travellers in the world – naturally – so where better for the masses to see the brand’s all-singing, all-dancing stage. It will only be there until 11 June, so if the English weather (or lack thereof) hasn’t been a big enough reason for you to book yourself on to a jet plane pronto, here’s another.
