Two lots of good news this morning: firstly, that it's the last day of what has been a month on the road seeing the spring/summer 2014 shows, which lovely though they are, do take it out of you quite a bit. Secondly, and much, much more exciting, is the utterly brilliant news that Lily Collins is the new face of Lancôme.

Only yesterday we ogled over images of her looking ridonkulously cool at the Givenchy show, and now comes this stellar bit of news. Joining the likes of Julia Roberts (whom she made her acting debut alongisde in Mirror Mirror), Emma Watson and Daria Werbowy, Lily will represent the French brand as of January 2014, starting with it's French Ballerine collection for Spring.

'It's an absolute honour and privilege to have been chosen to represent the Maison Lancôme.' Lily said of her new role. 'I have always admired the brand's unique and distinctive appreciation for inner beauty and grace, elegance and utter radiance. I feel incredibly lucky to be included among the most inspirational women ambassadresses for one of the most prestigious brands in the world. It's truly a dream come true.'
