Red lipstick might well be touted as one of the most iconic beauty looks around, but it might not be for everyone. Yes, it looks utterly fantastic on so many women – traffic stopping in some cases. You only need to scan the make-up counters to realise that a decent nude lipstick is something rarer than a giant panda. These shades often go overlooked by beauty brands in favour of ‘statement reds’ – the main stars of the show – with the odd lighter shade thrown in as an afterthought.
