Bryanboy insults Italians with tweet
Famed blogger Bryanboy has veered off his usual topic of fashion to wade into politics, Italy’s unemployment statistics, in particular.
The Filipino fashion enthusiast, who traverses the globe, travelling from show to show, party to party, pausing occasionally to take photographs of himself that he then posts under the ‘Me, Myself, Moi’ tab on his blog veered dramatically from his usual topics of jet lag and pedicures to comment on the 40.5 per cent Italian unemployment figure.
‘Wait so Italian employment. Is it because there are really no jobs or is it because they are lazy?’ he wondered today, tweeting the thought out to more than 400,000 followers.
Very few of his acolytes responded negatively to his foray into political commentary, with six actually retweeting the missive within 25 minutes.
We think Bryanboy needs to sit down with some of Italy’s famous fashion figures to thrash out his precocious ideology. Miuccia Prada, in particular, would be well placed to educate the blogger in European economics. She holds a PhD in political science as well as running a wildly successful business worth billions of pounds that employs thousands of people, many of them Italian.
An audience with no-nonsense, ferociously clever Miuccia and flashy Bryanboy, real name Bryan Grey Yambao, would be a delight to behold.
