The Saint Laurent show is one of the biggest on the schedule and last night Hedi Slimane served up a slice of rocky glamour to an audience of celebrity and fashion royalty including Anna Wintour, Grace Coddington, Salma Hayek, Francois-Henri Pinault and Lenny Kravitz. 

Models on the catwalk were of the sullen-supermodel ilk so there was Edie Campbell (she opened the show), Sam Rollinson, Lily McMenamy and Laura O’Grady (you see, we told you she was going to be big). 

News editor Harriet Walker said it was a ‘collection that speaks to women across demographics, scenes, area codes and seasons … a masterstroke’ and we can guarantee it will be seen on the more rebellious of the red carpet posse – Cara Delevingne, Kristen Stewart, Kate Moss – pretty soon before landing in shops next spring.
