Cara Delevingne tries out her pop star dream at DKNYArtworks

by

DKNY held a party in a former fire station by the Thames in Lambeth last night, filling it with London fashion types, including host for the evening, Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn, Mary Charteris and Henry Holland.

As well as starry selection of guests, there were buckets and buckets of champagne, bags and bags of sweet and savoury popcorn, a smattering of Euro partygoers and performances by Rita Ora and Iggy Azalea. Professor Green, hobbling on crutches, was accompanied by his fiancée Millie Mackintosh.

Cara Delevingne tweeted ‘The paparazzi actually scare me!!! Seriously guys, it's horrible’ just moments before she arrived at the party but was an utter pro on the red carpet, gamely posing for photographers, gurning and giggling in skin-tight Lycra DKNY and intricately braided hair, before taking to the stage to introduce the DKNY event and dance and rap alongside her 'wifey' Rita Ora.

DKNY was laying on the party to celebrate the #DKNYArtworks project, which uses a famous DKNY mural that was a New York landmark for almost 20 years as a starting point for an international project. The scheme will involve artists in New York, London, Paris, Milan, Kuwait, Dubai, Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai and Tokyo creating outdoor installations based on the mural.
