New York Fashion Week has started – and so have the parties. Last night (Thursday February 6), New York's fashionable were at the Peter Pilotto for Target party and on Wednesday, NYFW festivities kicked off with the amfAR Benefit Gala attended by Poppy Delevingne, Crystal Renn Atlanta de Cadenet and more. 

Tilda Swinton is back on the red carpet to promote The Grand Budapest Hotel and there has been no sitting back and enjoying the award season for Blue Jasmine actor Cate Blanchett – she was out this week in New York for the premiere of her latest film, The Monuments Men. Meanwhile, Brie Larson stepped out at the Santa Barbara film festival too, and a pregnant Erin O'Connor was the latest high-end bump on the red carpet at InStyle's British Talent Party in London.

The private view for David Bailey's Stardust exhibition, held at the National Portrait Gallery on Monday, was a star-studded as you'd expect, with top names from the art and fashion worlds, including Kate Moss and Grayson Perry, in attendance. 

It was a quiet weekend for red carpet events but a smattering of low-key international awards shows attracted accomplished (and well-dressed) actresses like the omnipresent Cate Blanchett and Emily Mortimer.
