We’ve spotted an early trend emerging at New York fashion week and it’s not one for your wardrobe. Karlie Kloss, the cream of America’s model crop, has been absolutely everywhere – even more so than usual, all while sporting at least three different haircuts. So much for her being too famous to get any bookings. 

As well as doing her day-job on the catwalk, opening for Carolina Herrera, and appearing in the line-up at Donna Karen and Diane Von Furstenberg, to name but a few, she’s been razzing it up with the best of them at the Wang party, Carine’s bash for Mademoiselle C, and introducing Rita Ora’s performance at the #DKNY25 event. And the NY shows aren’t even over yet.

Like the Kardashians, Karlie and her sisters Kristine, Kimberley and Kariann are getting alliterative with the Ks in their names. Even dad Kurt is in on it, while mum Tracey is going her own way. 

A Kloss fashion week takeover has happened before: during her first season she walked 64 shows, including a coveted closing slot for Marc Jacobs in New York.

Gossip Girl was known for its fashion, which it even extended to cameos including a star turn from Karlie, as herself, in season four. 

Karlie’s got legs so long and lean she had to design her on denim line to fit them. Want to know how she keeps them so slender? Cycling. 

As well as brandishing her own brand of baked good, Karlie’s Kookies, which she’s been handing out at shows, Karlie’s the queen of oatmeal – her handbag is always stocked with instant porridge and granola bars.
