Winter is officially here, which means that we're into boots season. And that means that there's a whole host of new styles to fall in love with.

Ankle boots are still top of the wish list as the most versatile length, but calf-length boots are cropping up as the new length to try. Extreme boots have been on the agenda since we saw Chanel's over-the-knee style on the catwalk - a passing whim maybe, but they look fantastic. Regarding heels it's chunky or pencil-thin-and-precarious, and if you're looking to try something other than black may we recommend navy (more on that later) or a dove grey or white style, perfect with a pale winter palette.
