'Two Mojitos and a glass of Fountain’s Hyaluronic Molecule, please'
Just as we’ve got used to glugging down skincare solutions like Fountain’s The Beauty Molecule, which contains the first bio-available form of age-retarding Resveratrol, Fountain has come back to market with another first. This time it’s Hyaluronic Acid that’s got the drink-up-it's-good-for-you treatment.
While the idea of drinking anything labelled with the word ‘acid’ sounds like a sticky end for a comic book villain, Fountain’s new Hyaluronic Molecule is about to flip that notion on its head, as, for the first time, Hyaluronic Acid will be available as an ingestible liquid. Beauty brand consultant Caroline Hirons has road-tested the formula, which Fountain has paired with a hint of ginger for a kick, and reports that the gel-like texture is a little “strange to drink” but overall is not “bad at all”.
Plus, skin-plumping Hyaluronic Acid is naturally produced by the body anyway so it’s not as crazy as it sounds. And at least this way, when you look in the mirror and see something resembling a prune staring back, you can hit the bottle (of Hyaluronic Molecule we mean, although, yes, a good G&T does have a wonderful numbing effect) knowing that a hit of HA will be in your system in no time.
Fountain's The Hyaluronic Molecule Food Supplement will be available from Boots from 2nd October; priced £27.99 for a 3 week supply
