Satin is a fabric we can't get enough of right now. Sure, it's been badly typecast in the past - fit only for bridesmaids dresses and 'special' lingerie, but the fabric has been fabulously reappropriated, and mark our words, you'll be wearing it before the season is out. 

There are a few tricks to wearing satin this season, and the first is the fit. You're aiming for clean lines, and a loose fit. There's nothing more exposing than tight satin, and believe us, that's something nobody wants to see. And the second is how you wear it. Buy separates - skirts, t-shirts, even shoes and mix it in with contrasting fabrics - denim looks great with satin because it's unexpected and the textures clash fabulously.
