There are a number of reasons to feel happy today. Hundreds, actually. Firstly because it’s the bank holiday weekend (and I’m off to Ibiza, *punches air*), which always comes as a pleasant surprise. Secondly because it’s Notting Hill Carnival, but most important of all, because something really quite wonderful lands on beauty counters today: Chanel’s new Coco Noir additions.

Oh Karl, how kind. You obviously planned for these to drop just in time for a leisurely weekend. They fit in perfectly with our long weekend plans and their Bonnie and Clyde appearance (mysterious, chic and inherently provocative), is right up our street.
