Here they are, the 50 most important shoes that you need to know about for spring/summer 2014. 

And this season there are three distinct shoe styles to invest in - the mule, the pool slide and the statement sandal. All new, and all fabulous. 

We saw the mule at Maison Martin Margiela, Altuzarra, Jason Wu and Chloe. It's heel-less and minimal and a pedicure is essential. The pool slide, or pool sandal is the second wonder style for Spring, and is your flat shoe for the season, as seen at Marni, Marc Jacobs and Givenchy. And lastly the statement sandal, as seen beautifully at Brian Atwood, Alexander McQueen and Dries Van Noten. There are no rules with this one, take colour, print and emblishment to the max.
