When your year begins with a clean sweep of all the major movie awards, you’d be forgiven for thinking it was all downhill from there. Even though Jennifer Lawrence’s Best Actress wins became less frequent as 2013 went on, her style triumphs kept cropping up all over the place, culminating in quite the frenzy with ‘that’ pixie crop. 

With another film, American Hustle, out before the end of the year, followed swiftly by the next instalment in the X-Men series, Days of Future Past, not to mention the two-part finale of The Hunger Games, 2014 might be an even bigger year for Jennifer than this one has been. But let's not get ahead of ourselves; first we should celebrate her breakout year on the beauty front.

It has without a doubt been Jennifer's year; forget the additions to the mantelpiece and the critical acclaim, on red carpet outings alone she's totally owned 2013.
