Among the painterly floral prints, leather ruffles and platform shoes at J.W. Anderson's autumn 2014 menswear show this morning was something you will definitely want to get your hands on. 

Mini handbags in multiple forms accompanied the collection, with what looked like a luxe version of the kind of bucket that tends to come with a spade, but in glossy black leather, being a prime candidate for many-a-girl's need-it-now list.

There were also lacquered box-clutches that had a look of antique furniture, in-keeping with the off-beat English gentleman feel that mini round glasses and laid-back tailoring created. 

Similarly angular small bags were also seen at the designer's womenswear show for spring 2014, so if this is a hint of what a J.W. Anderson handbag line would look like, then we hope he gets on it pronto.
