Celebrities. You can't deny we're bombarded by their image, so it figures that their hairstyles have infiltrated popular culture to (almost) the same degree as an HBO box set . Like handbags have become known by one-word monikers, so hairstyles like the 'Alexa' or 'Arizona' now garner the same currency when it comes to the way we ask for our hair to be styled.

‘I'd say four out of every 10 clients that come into the salon asks for a celebrity cut, says Sarah Okin, creative director at Daniel Hersheson. 'I think it's a great idea as it gives us both a talking point as to what someone likes and dislikes in a haircut.’

With this is mind, we set about researching the the most-requested celebrity cuts of all-time. In our quest, we've spoken to over 40 salons, and twice the number of stylists nationwide, to compile an exhaustive list of the cuts that salons are being asked for every single day.
