Keira ripped her Chanel dress while filming new Coco ad

by

Kiera Knightley's third incarnation as Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle has arrived. The latest commercial has been created by Anna Karenina director Joe Wright, who directed Brad Pitt's Chanel infamous scent commercial, plus Kiera in that motorbike one too.

The new film see's Kiera's character in playful coquette mode, once again flirting outrageously with a hapless potential suitor before fleeing the scene, this time in a speedboat down the Seine at sunrise, miniature bottle of Coco Mademoiselle in tow and all to a soundtrack of The Zombies, She's Not There.

When interviewed about the film, Knightley admits, the speed boat driving wasn't entirely her own work. 'I faked driving a speedboat. Sorry, I'm giving it away now.' She also confides that there was a slight wardrobe malfunction with the silver diaphanous couture gown she wore for filming - 'I think I might have ripped it' she half whispers into the camera.'

On becoming Coco, Knightley says, 'I really remembered the advert with Vanessa Paradis in the birdcage so when they asked me to be Coco Mademoiselle I thought, wow, this is very exciting.' And of the fragrance? 'It was a very strange thing when I got offered this contract for Coco Mademoiselle as I'd been given it by a friend about two years before and have always worn it.' What are the chances? You get offered a zillion dollar fragrance contract and it just happens to be for your signature scent. Some people have all the luck.
