The internet reacts to the Kimye cover
It's been the biggest will it/won't it happen on the cover of American Vogue since Anna threatened to ditch Sienna for having hair not as perfect as her own, but for the April 2014 issue, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will finally grace the cover of the fashion bible.
Like Italian Vogue before it, a hashtag acts as a cover line, but duh, do they not realise that #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple will seriously eat into your 140 characters?
Photographed by Annie Leibovitz with Kim in a fully Grace Kelly get-up, it's a snapshot of the American Dream made for our times if you ever saw it.
Unsurprisingly, every tweeter and a gif of their dog has got something to say about it, and it's not all positive.
Here's how the reaction is unfolding online...
So the Kimye US Vogue cover controversy: exactly what a possibly waning print mag needs. A seismic shift in snobbery too. Maybe.

C'mon people: that @voguemagazine Kimye cover caused more Twitter waves than Vogue has had in yrs. So really, who's laughing here?#FTLuxury

Multi-racial couple on the cover of US Vogue; last time they had a black man on the cover was in direct reference to King Kong. I'm into it.

Well......I guess I'm canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???

Vogue will forever be my bible but I'm leaving the April 2014 chapter out. #AprilFools

2. Yay that Vogue is embracing mass culture and admitting that they are a super market brand.

It's happening. Thank God Diana Vreeland isn't alive to see it. #KimKardashian #KanyeWest #vogue pic.twitter.com/6lnJPapcnm

Actually think it was a genius move for Vogue to feature KK& her prince on cover. What did everyone talk about today? Global warming? Not.

Feel like everyone is missing the bigger picture here, which is that Vogue is pushing "flats with everything!"

A characteristically low-key response from the woman herself:
This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover! O M GGGGGG!!! I can't even breath! 🙌🙏 http://t.co/0pCAs27GLl
