Bridal hair is changing, but not as quickly or as obviously as one might like. A quick Google search brings up around 30 million results, but click on a random selection of them and you'll mostly find variations of the same tired themes: a ballet bun, an up-do of loosely gathered (heavily lacquered) waves, or the popular half-up do with corkscrew curls and a few diamante clips thrown in for good measure. 

We all want our wedding look to reflect our personality on some level, not least through our hair. For example, there's nothing worse than seeing a normally tomboyish bride look like an extra from A Midsummer Night's Dream, her overly fussy, flower-strewn hair rendering her unrecognisable.

Thankfully more and more brides are side-stepping the traditional cookie-cutter bridal hair in search for a slightly more original  - yet no less stunning.
