Snap up fashion history from The Outnet

The Outnet is celebrating its fifth birthday by giving customers a chance to snap up a re-issued piece of fashion history from a cross-section of the industry’s most lauded and influential designers.

As part of the outlet site’s party plans, they have launched a limited-edition collection comprising re-issued pieces from 17 designer brands, including Alexander McQueen, Balmain, J.W. Anderson and Chloé.

‘We are delighted to celebrate this milestone by giving our customers the opportunity to invest in a re-issued signature piece from 17 world-class designers. It was an honour to look through each brand’s archive and curate a collection,’ explains Shira Suveyke, vice president of global buying at The Outnet.

J.W. Anderson says he never had any doubt as to which piece to plump for. ‘We instantly knew we had to reissue the paisley tanks from our spring/summer 2012 collection, ’Craft Goes Machine’,’ he says. ‘The paisley is a print synonymous with the brand.’

Meanwhile Roland Mouret has chosen to give new life to his elegant O’Hara design. ‘I wanted to bring back one of our bestselling dresses, the ‘O’Hara',' he says. ‘It was worn by Naomie Harris in the most recent James Bond film, Skyfall … and the dress has now been cemented in history.’

The pieces, modelled by Chanel Iman in the campaign (above in J.W. Anderson), go on sale at The Outnet from today. Click the gallery to see all 17.
