Cressida Bonas and Prince Harry might be no more, but her friendship with his cousin Princess Beatrice seemed to be still going strong when they hit Annabel's in London together on Thursday night.

Wednesday night saw the celebrity flame still burning at London's ever-popular Firehouse, with Lindsay Lohan paying the hotspot a visit.  

The fashion world headed to Dubai on Tuesday night where Karl Lagerfeld showed his cruise 2014/2015 collection surrounded by glamorous Chanel fans like Tilda Swinton and Dakota Fanning. Meanwhile, the Duke of Cambridge and Ralph Lauren hosted a charity gala dinner at Windsor Castle for The Royal Marsden hospital; although the Duchess of Cambridge didn't attend, lots of starry types – including Cate Blanchett, Emma Watson and Kate Moss – did.

In New York on Monday there were two hot tickets to get hold of: the premiere of The Normal Heart, at which its star Angelina Jolie, along with Brad Pitt, and Liv Tyler ruled the red carpet, or the swanky TOD'S dinner, held in honour of its creative director Alessandra Facchinetti, attended by Katie Holmes and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Over in London Jameela Jamil celebrated at the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year Awards, while Daisy Lowe partied for The Corinthia Hotel's Artists in Residence with Fresh Meat star Zawe Ashton.

There's no rest for Anna Wintour, you know – a week on from the Met Ball and the Vogue editor is content even to spend Mother's Day (the US one) in her official capacity, hosting a mothers-and-babies charity event for African awareness on one of New York's sunny piers, sponsored by etailer Shopbop. She was joined by fellow Lucky editor Eva Chen, designers Carolina Herrera and Donna Karan, as well as Claire Danes and – of course – her own daughter Bee Shaffer.

Victoria Beckham too has got straight back onto a work tip with a trip to Singapore to launch her label at On Peddlers store. 

In London, meanwhile, the Godzilla premiere brought Elizabeth Olsen to town to tread the red carpet, and in LA, Rumer Willis and Michelle Rodriguez attended the Evening with Women event.
