Lou Teasdale shares her most influential hair moments

by

Lou Teasdale, hairstylist and make-up artist extraordinaire, has over a decade of experience working alongside fashion's finest (not to mention a cushdy number travelling the world as One Direction's hairdresser). She's also a mum, Fudge Urban Global Brand Ambassador and now, author of new book The Craft. But somehow, she still found the time to talk to us about her most influential moments in hair.

1. Tai’s hair makeover in Clueless is the dream! #virginwhocantdrive

2. Nicole Richie’s transformation from The Simple Life to the biggest babe EVER in the early noughties was and still is astounding. Especially now she has her lilac hair.

3. Gwen Stefani's dyed blue hair and bindis all across her forehead at the MTV VMAs in 1998.

4. Courtney Love’s wedding to Kurt Cobain. Cue beachy waves with a flower crown, and all in her nightie.

5. Kendall Jenner walking in the Marc Jacobs show for Autumn/Winter 2014 - I loved the bleached brows and sharp bobbed wig.

6. The handbag strap hair at Chanel Autumn/Winter 2014 where the one and only Sam McKnight created fake dreadlocks by weaving rags made of Chanel tweeds into the models' hair before crimping it and using lots of Fudge Professional Salt Spray!

Lou's book, The Craft DIY Hair & Beauty, £9.99, is out now.
