Hairdryers have never been snazzier. Here are the cream of the crop
Hairdryers have never been snazzier. Here are the cream of the crop
Hairdryers have come on a long, long way since 1911, the year that the first ever dryer was invented by Gabriel Kazanjian of the United States. And while we’ll take this opportunity to thank Gabriel for his insightful creation – you wonderful, wonderful man) – we’re also terribly thankful that 102 years later, we’ve got proper, turbo hairdryers at hand (I dread to think how long it took to dry hair with one back in 1911). Those hotel ones that feel like a kitten purring on your hair are just NO GOOD, thank you very much.
Today, hairdryers are like cars. They’re faster than ever, contain engines more powerful than a Fiat 500 and get sleeker-looking by the second. Gone are the clumsy old things of years gone by; now a hairdryer makes for the smartest addition to your dressing table arsenal.
So, let’s hear it for the supercharged and super hi-tech new dryers that have hit the hair care world of late. The crème de la crème of them are in the gallery above; I’ll be having the T-3 please.
