It was but two weeks ago when we pointed out the (17,465th) return of the bob to the fashion hair zeitgeist. 

And now look. LOOK! Constance Jablonski, the French model and face of Estee Lauder who is ranked 8th in the world has gone and chopped all of her hair off. And this is no mid-length halfway house of a cut, props to her for going straight for the jugular, literally. And the result is quite marvellous. A bit Kelly McGillis in Top Gun but with shades of Marilyn and Madonna, it just looks... cool. 

It's impossible not to overstate the significance of the bob at this stage - if an incredibly successful model, who relies upon her hair for photo shoot after campaign after catwalk show has chosen to lop off her hair, then expect plenty of others, nay - the word - to follow suit. 

Breezy as ever, Constance remarked in her Instagram mere minutes ago that she just woke up today 'with the thought of going short', and that's a lesson to us all. It's only hair, people, chop it off for fun. It'll grow back.
