'I've been in my own world for so long' Kristen Stewart talks

by

As so often happens in the world of fragrance, the chosen face - or 'muse' as they're now called - seems to be a perfunctory (and somewhat disconnected) addition to the story of the fragrance itself. Not Kristen Stewart. Perhaps it's the actress in her, but in the making of video of Balenciaga's new Rosabotanica fragrance, £47.70, the sprightly, rose-strummed follow-up to Florabotanica, she manages a level of authenticity and passion that has failed others in the past. She is now, much to the delight of Balenciaga I imagine, become wholly synonymous with its entire brood of fragrances.

Watch the video below as Stewart waxes lyrical about the intracies of the scent and embodying a character in an enchanted garden - not about the notes of course, that would be dreary, but how it makes you FEEL - all the while as hand-decorated paper vines climb up her back and shoulders. I won't begin to talk about her deliciously creamy skin, that'd be too depressing.

And whether you're a hardcore Twilight fan or not, tell me if you don't feel instantly compelled to buy (or at least, smell) the fragrance itself. My own bottle is making its way over as we speak.
