We would not want to consciously uncouple from Gwyneth’s shoes

by

Gwyneth has been with us a long time, and what a time we’ve had together. With her guidance we have learnt that sugar-free banana bread is actually pretty delicious, that it’s all right to ‘work a 70s vibe, if you know what I mean’ and most recently we discovered the meaning of ‘conscious uncoupling’. The woman is pub conversation gold!

She’s fascinating for many reasons, not least because of her amazing appearance. Ever-glowing on the celebrity circuit, she’s very good at drawing focus to the ever-growing selection of beautiful designer dresses that she’s worn. Reach into your brain and you can probably recall quite a few glorious outfits from her look book.

But now close your eyes and think about her shoes. What do you know about them? Not much, right?  And the more you think about it the more ridiculous that idea becomes, because someone as well turned out as our Gwynnie obviously has - and we’re not using this phrase lightly - a killer shoe collection, right?

That she does. That she does. And today we celebrate it, in all its glory. So join us on a jaunt where we chart her heel highs in 106 pairs of shoes, right from 1995 to present day. (Oh, and you can shop some of them too).

Marvel at her fondness for peep-toe boots (seen on her feet 10 times). Rejoice in the knowledge that she too seems to be repeatedly drawn to studs these days (6 different pairs spotted). Take note that metallics shoes really do endure (she has 15 pairs of them. Yes, 15 pairs). Sob quietly into your hands as it dawns on you she owns at least 15 pairs of Louboutins, and a whole bunch of Jimmy Choos, Roger Viviers and Stella McCartneys. And last but not least, take comfort in the fact that deep, deep, deep down she’s normal just like the rest of us: she gets divorced, she doesn’t shave her bikini line, and she wears her shoes more than once.
