With fashion month on the horizon we're getting our house of inspirational industry figures in order. A little bit of extra-curricular prep now will hopefully pay off when, in a few weeks time, we're backstage trying not to look fazed when the most prolific make-up artists of our time are citing their eclectic and bizarre inspirations. Thank god then for tumblr, the digital scrapbooking site that's a bit like a virtual ramble through some of the most creative brains in the modern day beauty industry.

Some of these sites are darker than a Nick Cave EP (Val, that's you) and others, just plain awe-inspiring. Either way, these are the tumblrs we're gemming up on pre-fashion week. If you want to look like you know what the hell is going on come the New York shows, we suggest you do the same.
