Bag-maker to Downing Street, British Fashion Council ambassador and (we found out this morning) intergalactic nerd Anya Hindmarch almost had us convinced we'd gone to the London Planetarium rather than fashion week.

She presented her spring 2014 range of space-age white totes, marbled planet mini-bags and surrealist clutches as part of a journey through outer space, complete with starry night sky, orbiting planets (huge lamps moving around the ceiling) and bags suspended on wires, which descended from the firmament into the crowd.

And to top it off, a pair of high-wire dancers spun among the stars as a finale. Not bad for a Tuesday morning.
