Watch: Cara Delevingne doesn’t give a hoot

Fashion's favourite model sits in a tree with owls for Mulberry’s latest campaign video.

She can sing, she can pull strange faces, she can look pretty almost all of the time, and now Cara Delevingne has a new string to add to her bow: she can communicate with owls. It may sound like something out of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, but it’s not. It’s Mulberry; another great British story that’s only a shade less fantastical.

Mulberry Creative director Emma Hill let her imagination run wild for the brand’s autumn/winter 13 campaign, and she gathered some of fashion’s greatest storytellers to help realise her idea. Photographer Tim Walker shot the campaign, Shona Heath created the woodland set, and of course Cara provided the looks. 'After closing our London Fashion Week show, Cara was the first name in my mind for this season,' said Hill, 'she's beautiful, bold and British.'

Indeed Delevingne does a masterful job of dual-purposing herself as both model and owl-whisperer in the campaign video, wherein the birds flock to her as their own ponderous chief, and she in return gently strokes them and balances them on her boot, like only a wise old woman of the wood can.

Beauty, brains and now wisdom. Is there anything this girl can't do...hoo...hoo...?
