Jagger's still got it

The Rolling Stones took the stage at London's Hyde Park last night, and though the hits were as good as ever, our attention was diverted by something flashier than Jumpin' Jack Flash: namely, Mick Jagger's wardrobe.

Jagger worked his way through three costumes, each featuring a jacket more eye-popping than the last. He started in the swirling gold brocade pictured right, before changing into a blue sequinned floral jacket over a blue silk shirt. Then there was a loose metallic jacket for the last few numbers.

No word on who designed the stage looks, although Jagger's long-term girlfriend L'Wren Scott has designed previous costumes for him. When the couple were interviewed by WWD in November, he said, "Men aren't interested in clothes that look amazing but are fantastically uncomfortable to wear. We're not into pain - we're into comfort. When you're on stage [the costumes] have to fit and they have to be - for me - glamorous. They have to fit in with the show. If you're playing in a really big stadium, you want to be in super-bright colours, otherwise you just get lost."

Ronnie Wood was in a sleeveless T-shirt printed with a rhino, while Keith Richards is apparently wearing a wardrobe designed for him by Saint Laurent's Hedi Slimane. All of which confirms the Rolling Stones' place as our ultimate pensioner style icons.
