Another awards show; another funny Jennifer Lawrence meme. What did we do before she became famous?

J-Law's Golden Globes dress, a white Dior gown with black banding around the waist and hips, spawned a host of imitations on the internet last night.

Viewers quickly realised they could mock something up in the same vein using a duvet and some duct tape, and a flurry of Twitpics and Instagram efforts ensued. There was an inspired pose by actor Colton Haynes (above) and this classy version by someone tweeting under the name Lana Del Rey.

None of these quite lives up to the original, but you've got to applaud the Blue Peter DIY spirit.

And we can say with some certainty that J-Law, as the red carpet's official joker, probably finds the whole thing hilarious.
