There was a flurry of fandom and excitement last month when it was revealed that Robert Pattinson was to be the new face of Dior Homme. Excitement because R. Patz rarely looks anything other than top drawer handsome, but curiosity too, because he has until now eschewed the more fashionable side of being famous, preferring to slob around in jeans and a baseball cap instead.
