Sibling wins Woolmark regionals

by

Wacky British knitwear collective Sibling has won the regional stage of the Woolmark prize in Milan, presented earlier today, for their surreal and irreverent take on the cosy stuff.

In the past they have produced graffiti-ed tops and onesies printed with a toile de jouy of the London riots. Top marks for ingenuity, and now internationally recognised by the institution designated for promoting the use of wool in fashion. That's no dry task: in the past, Donatella Versace and Victoria Beckham have been judges of the prize, while previous winners include Yves Saint Laurent.

Well done to Sid Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery – and they've only just finished working for their London menswear show last week.
