I am being genuinely honest when I say that I don’t think there’s a single red-haired lady in all the land that beats Jessica Chastain. Because, there just isn’t. I’ve checked.

The latest images of the actress for YSL’s new Manifesto fragrance campaign are further proof. Look at them. See. Unbeatable, isn’t she? 

 

Dressed in Hedi Slimane’s finest Saint Laurent creations (earmarked that chic, black tux for Autumn), Jessica looks like the kind of beauty that women want to be and men want to be with. Just the right mix of elegance and sexiness, it’s not surprising that YSL picked her once again to front one of their biggest campaigns of the year.

Shot by Max Vadukul, there’s a strong Hollywood film noir vibe to the images and Jessica’s effortless nonchalance shines through in every picture.

 And aside from the beauty of the campaign, there’s a ton of beauty inspiration in there too. Like, why not mix a dark kohl smoky eye with a punchy pink lip? Or a mannequin/flesh nail with a lip to match? I for one have never wanted a deep hair parting more. Anything to be more like the Chastain, people.
