Victoria Sekrier is 100 today! Sort of.

by

Victoria Sekrier is our girl about town. That's the headline on our ever-expanding gallery of the stylist's daily (fabulous) looks, and today we celebrate her 100th picture as a contributing stylist at Never Underdressed. So let's have a chat with her and find out a little more about the 6-foot glamourtron who is, quite literally, never underdressed.

How did you get into fashion?
I grew up in Russia where I was scouted at the age of 16 to become a model. So I moved to New York and then 4 years later to London. After 10 years (and counting) of working with a lot of talented and influential people in the fashion industry, I was inspired to become a stylist.

How do you get dressed in the morning, is there a formula?
I have about 10 sweatshirts in different shades of grey, so that and a pair of vans are staples for me. I feel very safe in a sweatshirt, it's like my shield. I love separates as it gives you an opportunity to create more exciting options of outfits. If I feel jazzy I'll throw in a printed skirt (skater skirt style is a favourite) or trouser. Also, all white outfits in the summer is the chicest thing ever.

Talk us through your daily routine...
I work as a freelance stylist while still modelling, so my routine is quite unpredictable. I wake up every day around 7 or 8am, depending on how busy I am. I share a studio space in East London with other creatives where I work from, which often involves running around town to appointments, or I'll be on a shoot. The pace is usually quite fast and the decision making often has to be last minute as a result, but I try to wind down by 6 or 7pm though.

What are you planning to do over the bank holiday weekend?
There is an awesome place in South London called Cafe Cairo. It's a Moroccan Bar that makes the best cocktails using fresh ingredients. And they are about fiver for a pop. My mom is visiting from Russia so we are throwing a Russian dinner for friends and family, which will be followed up by going to Notting Hill Carnival the next day. A very multi-cultural weekend, indeed!
