US store Barneys have called on the super-cool combination of Lou Doillon (model, musician, mother, muse, mistress of perfect hair and artfully dishevelled style, and daughter of Jane Birkin) and photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for a campaign showcasing the best of their autumn fashion. 

Wearing looks from Proenza Schouler and other designers stocked by the New York Fashion destination, Doillon poses alongside an eerie life-size puppet version of herself, which was created for the shoot by fashion set designer Shona Heath.   

A video, shot by Inez and Vinoodh (who, it must be note, are having a stellar autumn with campaigns for Miu Miu, Dior and Jason Wu), is set to follow, with an animated version of Doillon as imagined by London designer and illustrator Jo Ratcliffe and a track from Doillon’s new album, Places.
