Honey I shrunk the Heroine

by

When Alexander McQueen launched its Heroine bag back in Spring Summer 2012, its instant It-status was confirmed by the likes of Jessica Chastain, Diane Kruger and Gwen Stefani. But the glossy curvilinear tote has since been usurped by its younger sister, the mini-heroine.

Like most little sisters the mini-heroine is cooler, lighter and more portable than its elder sibling. A bag worn cross-body is always more effortless than a crook-of-the-arm job, and it leaves hands free for youthful pursuits such as waving the hands in the air at a festival à la Sienna Miller, who was spotted wearing the bag at Glastonbury, or carrying an iPod as Jessica Alba has been expertly demonstrating on the streets of LA.

The cute little number has just launched on www.alexandermcqueen.com with four styles: powder blue, siren red, python and rock n’ roll studs. There are more to come with the autumn/winter collection drop, all in a rich palette that will reflect the autumn catwalk collection.
