What used to be a humble means of getting around has become quite the fashion statement on the streets of London: a bike is as big an indication of your personal style as your handbag, your shoes, your boyfriend – or any other accessory you feel closer to than is probably healthy.

So given that it's currently Bike Week in the UK, and we're celebrating all things cycling, our photographer caught up with some of the most stylish cyclists and pretty pedallers on the capital's roads.
