The internet's most viral fashion meme moments
If an event happens and no one memes it, did it happen at all? Fashion moments are as susceptible to being photoshopped into running jokes as snaps of perturbed looking cats.
Here are some of our favourite fashion images to go viral, from the Superbowl pictures that sent Beyoncé into photo-lockdown and Angelina's much-amputated leg, to Girls emojis and everyone's favourite Shibe.
1. Shoshifying.
Girls' Shoshanna has some pretty elaborate hairstyles, but it's her donut bun that you'll find all over the internet thanks to its inclusion in the Girls emojis in the Instamoji app.
Yes you too can be Shoshfied, as getting a donut-head has been dubbed, in your Instagram pictures.
The show's stars themselves are leading the trend.
Lena Dunham has Shoshified her nan.
Zosia Mamet, who plays Shoshanna and whose hair gave life to the wondrous donut bun, has Shoshified Justin Bieber's grinning mug-shot.
Even Obama has been Shoshified.
A quick search on Twitter shows that Shoshifying fever is truly rife.
2. The Jennifer Lawrence Duvet dress.
When Raf Simons dreamed up the beautiful Dior creation worn by Jennifer Lawrence at the Golden Globes, he may not have expected it to become quite the internet sensation it did, but when you dress 'the internet's girlfriend', as she's become known, prolific as she is on the WWW, it comes with the territory.
It all kicked off when actor Colton Haynes took to a very speedy Instagram homage dressed in his bedding.
Many grabbed their sheets to turn themselves into human memes.
Some were more glamorous than others.
Then when the cats finally joined in it was a dead cert that this would go down in internet history.

3. Doge gets stylish.
The canine kingdom's answer to the lol-cat - a cute Shibe dog with its own online language - has been trending of late. Weather reports, news topics, you name it, the dog speaking Doge will have memed its way into it, so a fashionable makeover was certainly in order.
It was only time before the already infamous Dogue chihuahua was replaced with this viral Shibe.
Much funny, so laughs, wow.
4. Angelina's Leg
Can anyone remember who won any Oscars in 2012? Probably not, because the main headline was Angelina Jolie cocking her leg out of a Versace dress, which was like giving Photoshop candy to an image-parodying baby.
First we saw traditional appropriations of the star's protruding limb onto other Oscars attendees.
Before long people got creative and gave iconic images the Angelina treatment.
Then things just got weird...
...really weird.
But the best version was when meme met meme and Bad Britney battered a car with Angelina's leg.
5. Neon Pants Lady.
At Jason Wu's autumn 2013 show last February, a certain woman photobombing from the front row in acid-lime trousers caused a serious distraction from the catwalk.
Buzzfeed loved her, and within no time she was cut and pasted into numerous situations - the Last Supper, a New York snow scene - and became the star of her own Tumblr.
She even had a date with the president.
6. Prada Justin Bieber.
Justin Bieber's grinning mugshot when he was recently arrested for DUI is meme-bait if we ever saw it (and led to some creepy Miley Cyrus spot the differences).
But the best incarnation was when he became a model in Prada's spring 2011 show, thanks to his jail uniform's uncanny resemblance to Miuccia's tunic.
7. Amused Anna Wintour
Someone as quotable as Anna lends herself well to the traditional text and image meme generator, and so, Amused Anna Wintour was born.
She scorns carbs, she eats interns, and generally asserts her power with a cackle.
Got a good Wintour joke? Why not make your own Amused Anna meme here.
8. Superbowl Beyoncé
When unflattering images of Beyoncé performing at the Superbowl emerged last year, the star tried to have them removed, but it was too late, the Internet had already gone wild.
You can kind of see why she wasn't into it. Beyoncé now only releases pre-approved pictures from her shows to prevent a repeat of such havoc.
Guitar playing Beyoncé isn't so bad (considering). Maybe it will inspire a new rock-led image change, after all, that's one of the few looks she didn't tap when she chameleoned her way through 17 new videos.
Even Neon Pants Lady is in on the joke.
With fashion weeks only just underway and the Oscars around the corner, we're looking forward to seeing what else will be joining the fashion meme hall of fame. One fast Photoshop job at a time.
