What I’m Wearing: Jenny Longworth

Revlon’s UK nail ambassador reveals the grown up scent she’s fallen in love with. And the teenage ones she’d rather forget.

'Today I’m wearing Gucci Guilty. I rarely find a scent that I genuinely love, but found this one after testing practically every perfume in the duty free hall last summer. A few weeks later my sister brought me the same fragrance for my birthday not knowing I had just bought it, so we must have the same taste in scents. I love it because it's quite potent without being too grown up or too sweet.

My usual signature scent is Stella McCartney. It reminds me of nights out and Christmas. People always ask what it is when I wear it and comment on how nice it is. Versace Red Jeans was the scent of my youth. All the girls wore that and the boys wore Blue Jeans. It's so sickly if you smell it now. Other classic 90's scents that bring back memories of my teenage years are CK One, Tommy Girl and Moschino Cheap and Chic (that reminds me of my first love).

I think scent plays a big part in your personality and style for that reason. It can have a really powerful impact on others. I'm a sucker for packaging so can get swayed by this when it comes to certain products. But I couldn't bear to wear a smell that wasn’t just right.'
