Josh Wood’s house of beauty experts assemble

Q. Where can you find a crack team of London’s elite beauty pros, all operating under one roof? And no I’m not talking about the master bedroom at Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s west London townhouse, though geographically, you’re close. The answer comes by way of Josh Wood’s newly extended Atelier in Lansdowne Mews W11, which this week opened its doors to a brand new shiny beauty space. The home of the glossy posse - Laura Bailey, Elle Macpherson, even January Jones when she's visiting - just got glossier, if that’s even possible? The Atelier is already a Mecca for anyone who ever lived and died by the balayage brush, but now as well as doling out arguably the best hair in town, Wood HQ can sort your facial, massage and manicure, too.

These are not names to be dropped casually into conversation either. Tanning comes courtesy of James Reed (I doubt if there’s a celeb in the entire postcode who he hasn’t seen starkers), while the eponymous Marian Newman works her nail magic nearby. There’s even a place for waxer du jour Kim Lawless (repeat what I said about James Reed) and brow shaping genius, Jenna Treat. The brands used, and stocked in the new retail area ‘The Cut, are none too shabby either - we’ve already mentally book the Gazelli Triple Cleanse Facial, £145, and a Citrus Body Boost, £75 (we just got paid okay?). If you’re wondering if it could get any better, it does. For the non-budget sensitive, there’s even a concierge and chauffeur service. If you want to know how the other half live, this is a pretty good place to start.
