You’ve to got to hand it to Lourdes Ciccone. She’s done well to step outside of her mother’s gargantuan over-arching, over-achieving, ever-evolving shadow. At just sixteen, she’s already had the punky Emily the Strange phase, the tweeny-bopper fluoro phase and now, what looks like a downtown hipster phase – and all in front of a global audience.

After last year’s undercut, Lourdes’s latest hair-based incarnation is possibly her best yet: face-framing streaks of witchy green. On anyone but Madonna’s daughter, chemical plant green hair would be an odious, slightly misjudged act of follicular rebellion. But Lourdes has got that nonchalant, give a sh*t attitude that makes being a teenager so ridiculously fun.  

The result? It looks, kind of good. I’d want to be in her gang if I was sixteen. Hell, I want to be in her gang now.
