Opale is hugely popular with the Euro jet set, who are probably still island hopping and basking on yachts while my paltry week in the sun is already a distant memory, so I’m hopping on their band(boat?)wagon and keeping the last vestiges of my tan alive by slathering my skin with the Monaco-based brand’s hero product, L’umiere d’Opale. 

This nourishing body oil smells of coconut aka the Official Smell of Summer (actually it’s macadamia, plus sesame, lemon and lime extracts). It sinks in immediately, leaving the lightest, shimmery, non-greasy sheen on the skin. Use on shins, shoulders and collarbone and pretend you spent the summer hanging with Anna Dello Russo, D&G and chums.
