Celebrity old school snapshots can be somewhat addictive. Why? Because it's slightly surreal, the notion that our favourite A-Listers and supermodels went through the same awkward 'ugly duckling' phases as we did, their shy smiles a world away from their honed-to-perfection red carpet poses of today.

There's the over-plucked eyebrows, bad dye jobs, dodgy mullets and braces which we can all relate to. It's strange to imagine that these icons were just like us before they found fame - with its personal trainers, team of stylists and extensive air-brushing ...
