There is no shame in ogling other women. None at all. I spend most of my time eyeballing my fellow commuters/colleagues/yoga students trying to work out exactly how they got that dewy, realistic skin glow or what particular shade of matte lipstick they're wearing. And I don't think I'm alone. Who doesn't love flicking through a gallery of other women's beauty looks? It's the ultimate blend of down right nosiness and accessible inspiration.

So, as summer bulldozes its way onto the calendar (yes, it's June, so festivals and all that jazz loom) isn't it high time we looked at what real women (albeit some who are models, and singers) are doing, out there on the streets?

Rest assured there will be braids, it is the unspoken law of the summer. But also brows of the most beautifully arched proportions, succulent lip shades, minimalistic nude skin. Oh and maverick bursts of bright orange hair. Hallelujah.
