Here's the best reason you'll hear to buy a bit of Valentino today, (other than, well, duh): to boost the funds raised by Cash & Rocket on tour, a charity event where seventy women from the worlds of fashion, music and cinema will travel from Venice to London in order to raise money for humanitarian organisations. Charities including Shine On Sierra Leone, OrphanAid Africa and Sumbandila - to support African children and their families with health assistance and educational programs in Sierra Leone, Ghana and South Africa, will receive 20% of proceeds from the Rouge Absolute Signature capsule collection. 

The pieces, available on Net-a-Porter and Valentino.com today, were designed especially by creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli. Maria Grazia Chiuri, who will be driving from Venice to London as part of the tour said, 'as a woman and mother, I am very happy to be able to help other women and children. I am profoundly convinced that it is essential to give them an opportunity for development and education, which gives me a chance to give back what I have received'.
