Cara and Suki star in Burberry's latest campaign

by

It's always exciting when Burberry unveils a new ad campaign featuring the bright young British faces that the heritage brand now has such a reputation for scouting. This autumn's array of imagery is no different, but you'll most likely recognise the chief protagonists: Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse star in the images, shot by photographer-to-the-stars Mario Testino.

Showing off designer Christopher Bailey's autumn 2014 collection, which featured arts and craft accents offset by high-minded references to Gaugin in creative splodgery and Polynesian graphics, the two models of the moment are dressed in sheepskin jackets and carry woven Bloomsbury bags (this season's hero style from the label), hand-painted with abstract designs. They're accompanied by male model Callum Ball, who made his debut in the Burberry spring 2014 campaign, as well as walking in the men's and women's shows that season.

In a shot that shows off Burberry's signature trenchcoats to great effect, Cara is joined by model Malaika Firth and up-and-coming face Tarun Nijjer.

Note, if you will, the scarf nonchalantly slung over one shoulder and looped through the coat's belt – it was one of *the* styling tips of the season on the catwalks, and has started to creep into how street stylers are wearing theirs. You heard it here first.
