Julianne Moore scoops Reed Krakoff campaign

by

We were disappointed when Bulgari stopped using the preternaturally beautiful Julianne Moore as the face of its animalistic campaigns. It’s not that we don’t rate Kirsten Dunst or Rachel Weisz – of course we do – but there is a smouldering intensity to Moore that we find irresistible. And also the fact that she is 52. To be 52 and still dominating the billboards – we’ll have some of what she’s having.

Well the good news is that she’s back in the realms of the fashion campaign, this time lending her lithe white limbs (a lesson in why you should stay out of the sun, kids) to Reed Krakoff. The designer, who has recently parted ways with Coach in order to concentrate on his own line, said of the actress, 'I have admired Julianne's extraordinary talent and unique style for many years and have been fortunate enough to get to know her on both a professional and personal level.'

In the campaign, photographed by Krakoff himself at the French Embassy on New York’s Fifth Avenue, Moore is youthful with unkempt long tresses, a python singlet and diffidence. We look forward to more.
