We may have mentioned before how much we love actress/director/writer Lake Bell, whose new movie In a World... (for which she won best screenplay at Sundance) is due out next month.

What we did not know about Bell is that she can even make a nude magazine cover look classy. Yes, she's appearing on the latest cover of New York magazine with nothing but the well-placed dot of an 'i' to (sort of, but not really) protect her modesty.

The crowning glory of the cover is the full-body rose tattoo designed in a collaboration between Marc Jacobs and Scott Campbell – Jacobs' tattoo artist, who also happens to be Bell's husband.

Is it just us, or is it a little sad to learn that the tattoo's not real?
