The £25 skort that everybody in New York is wearing
On a trip to New York this week, I kept catching sight of the same mini-skirt over and over again – symmetrically pointed over each tanned thigh and short as short can be, I resolved, after the sixth spot, to find out its origins.
It was everywhere, breakfasting at Pastis and digging out for a dollar slice at Percy's Pizza.
Turns out, it's actually a 'skort' – that is, a skirt/short of the hybrid variety made popular by Rick Owens, with an apron front disguising two little leg holes.
It's from Zara, and it costs £25. It also comes in tomato. You're welcome.
